Pricing FAQ

The honest answers.

What's the difference between the three plans?

Lite is the verse-detection engine on its own — pastor speaks, KJV verse appears on one projector. No songs, no media, no themes, no multi-display. £10/month, no watermark, no time limit. Pro is the full package and what we recommend for most churches: 12 Bible translations, songs, media, themes, unlimited displays, cloud transcription engines for better accuracy, and livestream / OBS / NDI output — everything you need for Sunday and beyond. Standard sits in between — the same worship tools as Pro but without cloud engines, livestream output, or unlimited displays. If you're not sure, start with Pro — the 30-day free trial lets you experience everything before you pay.

What about the cloud speech-to-text engines — are those extra?

The four cloud engines (Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Azure, Google) are unlocked on Pro. They require their own API keys; you sign up directly with the vendor and pay them based on actual usage. We don't mark up vendor pricing or take a cut. Most churches stay on the offline engines (free in every tier) and never need the cloud option.

Why a subscription?

We refresh the speech and language models a few times a year as better open-source weights ship. Your subscription is what funds the testing, the cross-platform builds, the multilingual work, and the support inbox. We're a small team building this for churches like yours, not a venture-funded land-grab.

What happens if I cancel a paid plan?

Your paid features continue working until the end of your billing period. After that, you can downgrade to Lite at £10/month — verse detection on one projector with KJV stays on, the songs library and the multi-display features lock until you re-subscribe. Re-subscribing turns everything back on instantly with no data loss.

Do you offer a discount for ministries or church plants?

Yes. If your church plant is under two years old or your annual budget is under £7,500, email info@phenomtech.co.uk with a one-line note and we'll send you a free annual Standard plan. No paperwork.

Multi-site churches — one Pro licence covers everything?

Pro covers unlimited displays and multi-site under one church name. Larger denominations or networks should email us — we'll work out a fair umbrella plan instead of charging per campus.

Refunds?

Full refund within 14 days of any paid charge, no questions asked. The 30-day Standard free trial means you should rarely need this, but if month-two arrives and ICHOS isn't right for you, ask and we'll refund.
